Why should I lease? 

Leasing is a great financing option because it allows your lease payment to be written off as an expense in your business.  It also becomes very economical from a budgeting standpoint, as the machine can make money for you as you pay for it. 

How do I apply? 

Chatterson Janitorial Supplies will provide you with a short lease application.  We submit the form to our lease broker to find the best lease rate.  The lease broker runs the credit history checks and submits to various leasing companies. 

A $50 lease fee is payable to Chatterson Janitorial Supplies along with your application.  If you are approved, the fee is applied directly onto your lease.  If declined, we will refund the fee to you.  Lease fees cannot be refunded after lease documents have been prepared.

How long does it take? 

Approvals are normally back to us within a 24 period.  Chatterson Janitorial Supplies provides you with a credit approval notification listing your monthly payment and buy out information.  When you approve of those details we submit for contracts, which will normally follow in 1-2 days following your consent.

What about payments? 

Normally the lease company will request a down payment of your first and last monthly payments.  Payments are made via direct debit from your bank account. 

What are my options at the end of the lease? 

Upon termination of the lease, you have three options: 

1 - Buy out the equipment.  The buyout amounts will vary depending on the leasing company.  In some cases the buyout is $10; in others it can range from 10% - 15% of the original purchase price.  In most cases there is a lease fee of $85.00.   

2 – You can roll into another lease with new equipment.  Perhaps you’d like to buy out your existing equipment to use as a back-up and operate your contract with new equipment.

3 – You may walk away from the lease owing nothing more after your last payment. Simply return the equipment in working order to our office before the end of your contract.
